By popular demand and in celebration of the joy of music-making, the Zephyr Quartet presents its debut CD. An incredibly diverse collection of styles and personalities has contributed to the creation of this album - and yet somehow, finally, miraculously, it has come into existence as a cohesive whole.

The music can not be categorised. No label would really describe it. But all of it uses the string quartet medium, all of it is completely original and absolutely heartfelt, and all of it is created and performed with energy and passion.

We believe in voicing our musical expression - and in working together with friends, giving voice to theirs and making the most of the skills and resources whic hwe find close at hand. We also believe that our music is accessible to people of all ages and walks of life. We have enjoyed bringing it into being. We hope you enjoy it. We hope that it speaks to you.
